Who We Are
Animal Friends' mission is to provide temporary shelter for homeless puppies and dogs and kittens intil responsible, loving homes can be found. This is accomplished by a dedicated staff of employees, volunteers, and board members.
Animal Friends was established in the Spring of 2000 as a no-kill adoption shelter for San Antonio, Bexar County and the surrounding area.
Animal Friends is a 501(c)3 non-profit Texas corporation. All donations are tax deductible.
President: Paula Oberle
Board Members: Tracy Green, Laura Alderman and Billie Wildenstein.
Our location is on U.S. Highway 281 North, 3 1/2 miles north of Loop 1604, just south of Marshall Road. We have been here since the fall of 2002.
