What We Do at Animal Friends

Animal Friends provides an escape from certain death for hundreds of dogs, puppies, cats and kittens in our community:

No-Kill shelter, pets are not put to sleep because of space restrictions or their appearance
Giving pets on death row at local shelters a second chance for adoption
Microchipping all pets offered for adoption to ensure they can be returned to their owner if they become lost
Surgical spaying/neutering of all shelter pets to prevent unwanted animals

Volunteer Your Time

All of the programs rely on volunteers. Spend an afternoon educating our school children on the proper care of pets, or enjoy a day outdoors helping at a fundraiser. Contact us or call 210-509-DOGS for more information.
